BYD Shark (export name: BYD Shark 6) is a mid-size plug-in hybrid pickup truck for B2B wholesale export, available in both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) configurations directly from the factory. It is BYD's first global pickup and the world's first mass-produced plug-in hybrid 4WD pickup, built on BYD's DMO (Dual Mode Off-road) Super Hybrid platform. It made its global debut in Mexico in May 2024 and has since been launched in 11+ countries including Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the UAE.
